Car Safety Seats Save Lives
Child safety seats can reduce fatal injury by up to 71 percent for infants and 54 percent for toddlers (ages 1-4) *. Proper installation procedures can vary according to make and model of seat, make and model of vehicle, and size of child. Northwest Fire District offers inspections to verify if your seats are installed correctly.

Our certified technicians can verify if a seat has been recalled, provide proper installation instruction and will evaluate the owners ability to safety install a car seat on their own once they have been instructed to ensure child safety seats are properly installed if they need to be removed from the vehicle or moved to another. An appointment may be obtained by calling 520-887-1010 extension 5000. We currently take appointments on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We do limit installation instruction to appointments only so our certified technicians can provide one on one instruction.
